This is truly a difficult situation. If your ex has moved on, it means that you will find it difficult to get him alone with you. Also, he is focused on a new relationship. Being nice is all the more crucial in this situation. Never lose an opportunity to make him understand how wonderful you are. He needs to know how much he is missing by not having you back.
Is it okay to play dirty mind games or psychological tricks to get ex boyfriend back?
Don’t even think about it. At first sight, it may seem innocent. But it could backfire later. You are not looking for a short term relationship, are you? So what’s the point if you get him now only to lose him later when he finds out about the trickery?

Maybe you can. Maybe you won’t. If you provoke him, he may become jealous and desperately try to get back with you. Or he may just think that you have decided to move on, so he may as well move on. You will not be able to find out what he really feels till the last moment and by that time it might be too late.
If you need to date someone to be happy, go ahead and do it. But if you are doing it just for making your ex jealous, that is not really a good strategy for you and it is bad for your date also. Such games usually do not work. It is better to be honest with yourself and with others.
You will stand a better chance of getting back together with your ex.
